In 2002, Kim started her company Gift Solutions
By Kim.
The idea came from purchasing a few favorite
gifts for a friends birthday.
Kim collected the gifts,
arranged them in a basket and that was when Gift
Solutions By Kim was born.
That was when Kim
started to create and design gifts as a home based
business the first year.
In 2003, Gift Solutions By
Kim grew and the company expanded to a 2,000 sq. ft.
commercial
location at 5720 South Bay Road in Cicero, New
York.
Kim continued to build relationships and
become involved with networking groups,
Business Networking
International, Chambers of Commerce, WBOC and Women
Ties.
In 2004, Kim was honored as one of The Top 25
Women in Leadership Award by WTVH 5.
In 2005, Kim was honored
with the 40 Under 40 award by The Business Journal.
In 2006, Kim was recognized by Gift Basket Review as one of
The Top 50 Gift Basket
companies in the United States.
In 2006 and 2007, Kim was awarded as an Economic
Champion by The Syracuse Chamber
of Commerce for
economic growth.
In 2008, Kim founded a
Not-for-Profit organization called Angels That Care
Foundation, Inc.,
which is a team of people working
together to help others in need.

In 2009, Kim was
offered the opportunity to purchase (a local competitor)
Something Different Gift Shoppe, Ltd.
In February,
2009, Kim acquired Something Different Gift Shoppe, Ltd
which was formerly located in Syracuse on Court Street for
28 years.
Kim integrated the two companies:
Something Different Gift Shoppe, Ltd.
with Gift
Solutions by Kim into one location at 5720 South Bay Road in
Cicero, New York.
In 2010, Kim changed the company
name to Kim's Gourmet Gifts in order to rebrand to a new
look,
design new gifts and to consistently evolve within
the gift industry.
In 2012, we will be celebrating
our 10th year in business.
Our mission is to continue
to provide
beautiful quality gifts that are budget friendly while
making your friends and family smile.
